About The Position

You'll own capabilities at the foundation of how the company moves, stores, and reasons about data: collecting analytical events in real time and batch, housing them cost-efficiently across thousands of datasets, and making them queryable at massive scale. Your focus is building paved paths, opinionated end-to-end workflows, that let teams produce trusted data outcomes without stitching together systems, filing tickets, or becoming amateur platform engineers. You'll be accountable for the full user-facing capability across whatever products it touches, absorbing the friction from start to finish. You'll build these paths alongside your customers, working with engineers on the technical design and with internal users, so decisions rest on real use cases and direct feedback. Expect to stay hands-on: tracing how data flows end-to-end, finding where paths break down, and shifting more of the work from procedural steps to simple, declarative intent. Making the platform AI-ready is core to the role. You'll shape how data is exposed to AI systems and agents through natural-language access, programmatic access, and AI-assisted analysis, and you'll hold those capabilities to the same governance, quality, and observability bar as everything else. You're also expected to use AI fluently in your own work: speeding up discovery and analysis, prototyping and pressure-testing ideas, drafting specs, synthesizing customer feedback, and automating workflows so you spend more time on the product strategy.
