About The Position

Figma is seeking user-driven and technically adept Associate Product Managers for its rotation program. This role involves connecting AI, design-to-code, and design systems workflows across Figma's product suite to help millions of users transition from idea to production more rapidly. The Associate Product Manager will act as a liaison between design and engineering, tackling complex user experience challenges while ensuring compatibility with the engineering architecture. This position offers a comprehensive experience of the product development lifecycle at a fast pace, with exposure to multiple product areas. The role is full-time, based in San Francisco with hybrid flexibility.

Requirements

  • Comfortability working on deep, technically complex problems and have experience working on user-facing product launches
  • A knack for visual design and/or design workflows
  • Excitement about shaping how design evolves in an AI-powered world
  • Experience with design systems, AI applications in design, or design-to-code tools
  • A love for designers and building relationships with key customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal teams and external high-profile clients

Responsibilities

  • Drive forward tightly-scoped, advanced features across Figma products
  • Collaborate with fellow PMs to advance larger streams and define the multi-year vision for these interconnected product areas
  • Work closely with customers to ensure the needs of all users at any scale are met
  • Partner closely with engineering to ensure the systems are built in a scalable, performant way that advances our needs in the future
  • Join forces with designers to find ways to present complex user flows in a simple and easy to understand format
  • Participate in planning and prioritization, tracking key metrics, collaborating on marketing, messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans
