Associate Product Manager - Industrial Pumps

The Associate Product Manager will report to the Director of Product Management, contributing to the strategic direction and daily execution of the product line lifecycle, including price and position analysis, to maximize market share, profit, and revenue for the PSG California portfolio (All-Flo, Griswold, Neptune, and Wilden). This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure customer and market expectations are met. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in product management, sales, or marketing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast pace, dynamic environment.
- Self-sufficient, self-motivated, works with moderate supervision.
- Strong team player, great work ethic, passionate and a commitment to win.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of product line strategies for the PSG California portfolio that supports the market and customer penetration objectives of the global sales team.
- Manage product pricing and margin maintenance.
- Contribute to new product development initiatives.
- Oversee life cycle planning for product enhancement and obsolescence.
- Develop product forecasts, provide inventory guidance, and establish cost targets.
- Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to develop specific value propositions and ensure competitive market alignment.
- Define new product development opportunities and build a robust funnel of prospective new investment projects.
- Build business cases for new product opportunities through Voice of Customer (VOC) research and establish product specifications and design targets.
- Effectively manage and communicate product launches, product changes, and product promotions internally and externally.
- Coordinate the promotion of products and services to deliver profitable growth.
- Provide support to the sales force through management of technical support resources, identification of target markets/accounts, and support on virtual and in-person meetings and customer calls.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
