Summer 2027 Intern - Associate Product Manager (APM)
About The Position
Salesforce is seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM) Intern for Summer 2027. This is a 12-week immersive program focused on shaping the AI-driven future of technology. Interns will join product teams to create and launch new AI innovations built on a trusted platform. The program offers direct access to senior executives and teaches essential soft and hard skills for success in an AI-native world. The role involves understanding user needs for autonomous agents, analyzing market trends, defining product strategy, partnering with designers and engineers on user experiences and feature launches, and evangelizing product vision.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or a similar technical field (with a graduation date of spring 2028 or winter 2027).
- AI Literacy: A deep interest in (or experience with) LLMs, autonomous agents, and data architecture.
- Ability to deliver on commitments and thrive under the pressure of rapid AI release cycles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting technology landscapes.
Nice To Haves
- Product management, software engineering, or design experience with a focus on software products, particularly those involving Machine Learning, NLP, or Generative / Agentic AI.
- Experience with Salesforce, Slack, or building apps on top of AI APIs.
Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze user needs to define how autonomous agents can solve complex, multi-step business problems.
- Analyze market trends, competitor frameworks, customer research and product data to drive product success.
- Help define a product strategy that moves beyond static features toward autonomous, context-aware collaborators.
- Partner with designers to create intuitive user experiences where humans and AI agents work together seamlessly.
- Work with engineers and designers to build and launch features.
- Help evangelize product vision through presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
