About The Position

Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) manages $101 billion across a diversified set of businesses, striving to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for clients across market cycles. The Product Management team within BXMA serves as the firm’s center of excellence for investment product content, partnering closely with Investment teams, Client Investment Strategy, and Institutional Client Solutions (ICS). The team is responsible for the development, governance, and continuous enhancement of all client- and prospect-facing investment materials, operating in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment that requires deep investment knowledge and execution excellence. The Associate will support Product Management on BXMA’s investment platform, working on one or more product verticals to deliver high-quality client and prospect-facing materials. This role is critical in executing the team’s mandate by responding to client inquiries, producing analytical outputs, and developing client service and marketing content. Associates are expected to build strong foundational product knowledge while developing analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in investment management, investment banking, financial analysis, reporting, consulting, or a related data science or quantitative role
  • Exposure to financial markets, portfolio analytics, or content preferred
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven, high-output environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to numerical accuracy.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Basic familiarity with tabular data manipulation via SQL and Power Query.
  • Some familiarity with mainstream data science tools including Python a plus.
  • High level of precision in data, formatting, and presentation.
  • Clear and concise verbal, written, and visual communication.
  • Managing multiple deliverables and deadlines effectively.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality work on time in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintains high standards for both content accuracy and presentation
  • Works effectively with colleagues across functions and levels.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a willingness to build investment and technical knowledge over time. Open to learning new data science tools and ways to analyze and transform data.
  • Comfortable operating in a detail-oriented, execution-heavy role with high expectations for output
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, including structuring, auditing, and troubleshooting complex analyses.
  • Comfort working directly with raw data sets in SQL, tabular data manipulation, and data visualization platforms.
  • Basic understanding of investment concepts, including performance measurement, benchmarks, and portfolio construction
  • High degree of comfort working with data sets and transforming them in line with business logic
  • Translating data into clear, structured, accessible, client-friendly outputs

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to financial markets, portfolio analytics, or content preferred
  • Some familiarity with mainstream data science tools including Python a plus.
  • Some experience with Python a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to a wide range of client and prospect inquiries by producing timely, accurate, and well-structured materials.
  • Creating and maintaining client- and prospect-facing materials, including marketing presentations, portfolio review decks, and customized presentations.
  • Producing recurring and ad-hoc reporting deliverables, including performance summaries and portfolio analytics, using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Sigma, Tableau.
  • Maintaining a high standard of quality across all outputs, including numerical accuracy, formatting precision, and visual consistency.
  • Working with Investment, Sales, Client Service, Operations, and Compliance teams to gather inputs, validate information, and ensure deliverables meet both business and regulatory requirements.
  • Building foundational knowledge of investment products, portfolio construction, and performance drivers.
