About The Position

The Associate Product Designer is responsible for supporting the design and user experience of digital products. This role contributes to creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing experiences that meet both business objectives and user needs. The Associate Product Designer collaborates closely with product managers, developers, and other design team members to ensure design solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with the product vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodology
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Good communication skills to explain design decisions clearly
  • Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and grow professionally in a design role

Nice To Haves

  • Portfolio demonstrating design work for web or mobile applications is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications
  • Translate requirements from product managers and stakeholders into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet user experience standards
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
  • Support the creation and maintenance of design systems, patterns, and style guides
  • Iterate on design solutions based on feedback from users, peers, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to cross-functional team discussions, providing design insights and recommendations
  • Document design processes and decisions to maintain transparency and team alignment
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, best practices, and emerging tools to continuously improve design quality
