About The Position

The Associate Product Analyst internship is part of a 10-to-14-week summer student program that starts in mid-May and ends in August. Interns work on impactful projects and gain exposure to different areas of the business, with opportunities for networking and coaching. As a department or division intern, the role supports strategies that meet organizational objectives. Under the direction of a senior-level employee or manager, the intern works on projects supporting business-area goals and results. The position uses interpersonal and technical skills appropriate to the assignment and requires adapting to changing situations in a team environment. The role is based in Madison, Wisconsin, and may be full-time in-office or hybrid depending on the selected candidate's location. The position may require up to 10% travel.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
Currently seeking a baccalaureate, master’s, or doctoral degree and enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university, or enrolled as required by the university’s co-op program.
Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term.

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture, and structure to support work initiatives.
Support new ideas, systems, and procedures, and generate creative responses to changing situations.
Support and plan small projects with direction from management.
May perform duties normally carried out in the department alongside professionals in those roles.
Present project results to management and/or department personnel.
Perform analytical work within the assigned functional area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
