About The Position

The Associate Producer is responsible for working with the team to assist in translating creative ideas and briefs into project plans and deliverables for small-scale live events, brand activations, and pop-ups within budget and schedule parameters.

  • Manage and deliver projects with high standards.
  • Scope projects, build teams, source vendors, create project plans and budgets.
  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact, managing needs and relationships.
  • Build, manage, and reconcile project budgets, balancing client expectations and company margins.
  • Lead internal processes for project delivery, including folder management, vendor setup, and payments.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence for their time.
  • Research, appoint, and manage vendors for project delivery.
  • Lead onsite production teams, including client management, schedule oversight, and daily reporting.
  • Debrief projects for learning and future business development.
  • Line produce or assist on large-scale event productions.
  • Understand and implement agency processes.
  • Contribute to company culture, communication, and process improvement.
  • Actively pursue sustainability practices in projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and delivery of projects, ensuring consistently high standards throughout
  • Scope out projects based on initial briefs, building teams, sourcing vendors, creating project plans and budgets accordingly
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for client project leads, managing their needs and maintaining WPP Productions relationships
  • Build, manage and reconcile project budgets – managing both client expectations and WPP Production’s margin targets
  • Lead internal process requirements for project delivery, including managing project folders, vendor set up and payments
  • Manage project teams, overseeing the quality and timeliness of their work and ensuring their time spent is budgeted accordingly
  • In coordination with the other members of the team, to research, appoint and manage suitable vendors to assist in the delivery of projects
  • Lead the production team onsite including, but not limited to client management, onsite schedule ownership and oversight of all production and delivery, daily reports to client and internal team
  • Debrief projects to ensure postmortem learning and future business development
  • Line Produce/assist on elements of the production of large-scale events under Senior / Executive Producers
  • Travel is required and typically over weekends and some holidays
  • Fully understand and implement greater Agency Process
  • Contribute to growing a healthy company culture and always looking to improve our communication and processes
  • Consider and actively pursue sustainability practices within our projects as best we can
