At CKUA, this Associate Producer position is part of the team doing that work, focused on production and editorial craft. You'll join the Content team to research, interview, record, and edit the features, segments, podcasts, and sessions that CKUA's hosts and programs rely on. You'll work closely with the Senior Producer, hosts, and fellow producers from first idea through final edit, help cover live broadcasts and special events, and keep several projects moving at different stages at once. No two projects look quite the same. One week you might be deep in interview prep for a feature, the next you're editing a podcast episode or supporting music curation for a session. The common thread is craft: knowing how to shape raw material into something clear and worth hearing, no matter which host or program it's built for.
