About The Position

SiriusXM is seeking a passionate, organized, articulate, and creative Associate Producer for their Comedy programming. This role is critical in maintaining continuity across comedy programming, production, and content operations. The Associate Producer will help manage original content and daily channel execution, ensuring key initiatives are delivered on time and at a high standard. This position supports leading production for popular, talent-driven programming, sustaining a strong pipeline of engaging original content. Additionally, the role assists in channel programming and content management for a seamless listener experience. The position also drives operational efficiency through accurate scheduling, well-organized content libraries, and strong cross-functional coordination, aiming to preserve quality, consistency, and audience engagement across all comedy platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience with audio editing and programming software (Adobe Audition, Zetta, Galaxy, Music Master).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize and multitask across projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in comedy and entertainment programming.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute creative ideas.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Assist producers with end-to-end production for high-profile, talent-driven programming, including guest booking, recording, editing, scheduling, and social asset creation.
  • Assist in managing production for interview-based content, including guest research, booking, question development, recording, editing, and distribution across channels and the app.
  • Support comedy channels programming through Music Master log generation, Zetta log management, album show file maintenance, and promo scheduling.
  • Manage content ingests and library by reviewing audio and metadata, ingesting content, and maintaining an organized, accurate catalog.
  • Edit audio, pull clips, and write copy to support programming needs.
  • Collaborate with producers and imaging team to create and schedule liners and promos.
  • Help maintain the Music Master database and perform Zetta log checks to ensure accuracy and smooth operations.
  • Coordinate effectively with producers, talent, and directors to enhance programming and overall execution.
