Associate Procurement Agent
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our T-7A Red Hawk Supply Chain team in Berkeley, Missouri. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Requirements
- More than 1 year of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
- Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.
- Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
- More than 1 year of experience negotiating directly with suppliers
- Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
