About The Position

Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to lead/assist in process design for new and existing facilities. Analyze, calculate, and design new or revamped process equipment in refinery, chemical, and other industrial applications.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
  • Experience: Min Yr = 3+
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of P&ID development, heat and material balances, hydraulic and equipment sizing calculations, relief device sizing, API standards, and ASME codes required.
  • Management: Experience in coordinating across multiple disciplines required
  • Other Skills: Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • E.I.T. Preferred
  • PE license a plus
  • Knowledge of process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field and technical evaluations of existing process units
  • Perform calculations, develop PFDs and P&IDs, provide design documentation for downstream engineering disciplines, develop equipment specifications, compile scope of work packages for construction
  • Interface with Client and Construction, attend meetings, and provide written reports
  • Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects
