About The Position

As an Associate Process Engineer with the Supply Chain team, you will help develop, implement, and maintain fair, reasonable, and attainable engineered labor standards across Distribution Center operations. You will observe DC workflows to define optimal processes and preferred methods, then document them via clear and effective SOPs. Engineers will conduct time studies to measure and validate direct labor functions, analyze data, and communicate findings and process recommendations to Operations leadership. In support of incentive and accountability programs, you will evaluate labor reporting and employee performance to ensure accurate and consistent standards application. Engineers will educate DC Operations teams to promote understanding, alignment, and sustained adoption of labor standards. You will collaborate closely with DC Operations and cross-functional partners to identify improvement opportunities, develop operational strategies, and resolve process and/or training gaps. Additionally, you will assess DC capacity requirements and constraints and, when needed, provide innovative, data-driven network optimization recommendations. Approximately 50% travel is required to DCs. This role is on site, which means you would be required to work on site at the Best Buy location listed on the job posting. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
