About The Position

CoBank is looking for an Associate Principal DevOps Engineer who is passionate about technology and has a solid history of addressing complex business issues. Requirements

6 years of experience in DevOps/SRE/Cloud/IT Operations/SysAdmin engineering, required
5 years with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services, required
In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architecture.
Advanced experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools and pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipeline).
Advanced experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Leadership skills with the ability to support complex solution implementations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and architecting CoBank's AWS footprints to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
Implement Infrastructure as Code and Pipeline as Code using tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Action or Azure DevOps.
Support the development and implementation of automation solutions for infrastructure and application deployment.
Support the design and implementation of Kubernetes clusters.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus and the ELK stack.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define DevOps best practices and standards, as well as with development teams to ensure proper deployment and testing of applications.
Provide technical expertise, leadership, and guidance to team members.
Support complex solution implementations and provide mentorship to junior team members on best practices and standards in DevOps.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
