About The Position

Corunna Public Schools is looking for an Associate Preschool Teacher to plan and implement a full-day and/or half-day preschool program for three- and four-year-olds in the Great Start Readiness Program, based on research-based developmental philosophies. Responsibilities include planning and implementing wrap-around childcare services for ages 3-12, team planning, supervision of children, conducting student and program evaluations, home visits, parent conferences, and family activities as required by the Program Coordinator. Additional responsibilities include childcare staffing as needed based on enrollment.

Requirements

• Minimum CDA credential or willingness to actively pursue credential (Associate position)
• Experience working with groups of children
• Cheerful, mature, flexible, caring attitude
• Willingness to devote extra time, as needed, for meetings, inservices and parent/student programs
• Experience working cooperatively as a team member
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
