About The Position

Joseph’s Classic Market is seeking a Prepared Foods Associate to join their team. This role is central to the Prepared Foods Department, which offers Chef-Prepared, restaurant-quality meals. The Associate will help customers select items, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to creating convenient, high-quality dining experiences. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic math and reading skills

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions
Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks
Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness
Prepare salads and pack out soups, pastas, sauces, and other prepared foods
Plate, package, and present items to meet Joseph’s quality and appearance standards
Accurately package, label, and price self-service items
Follow food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
Operate basic counter equipment, including scales, knives, and other counter equipment
Assist with other tasks as assigned
