About The Position

This role provides operational leadership for one or more CareMore Health care centers serving Medicare and Medicaid patients with chronic and complex conditions. The manager is responsible for ensuring effective day-to-day operations, workforce leadership, regulatory compliance, and strong patient experience while supporting value-based care outcomes. The scope of responsibility may vary based on care center size, patient population, operational complexity, and number of locations assigned. The Associate Practice Manager oversees operations in care centers with moderate operational scope, focusing on clinical efficiency, team performance and patient experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience supporting operations within a physician office, clinic, or primary care environment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree may be preferred.
  • Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required depending on location or patient population.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the day-to-day operational performance of the care center by monitoring workflows, staffing alignment, and operational activities.
  • Escalates operational issues that may impact care center performance.
  • Monitors scheduling, patient flow, and office processes to support efficient care center operations.
  • Identifies workflow challenges and partners with leadership to implement improvements.
  • Supports care center operations that enable providers and care teams to deliver high-quality care.
  • Ensures staff follow established workflows that support patients with chronic and complex health needs.
  • Communicates operational updates, expectations, and concerns clearly with staff and providers.
  • Builds collaborative working relationships across care center teams.
  • Provides day-to-day supervision of administrative and clinical support staff.
  • Leads coaching, accountability, and team engagement.
