About The Position

The Associate, POT Portfolio Lifecycle Management role at Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas focuses on minimizing risk through adherence to policy and procedural requirements. This position involves acting as a checker for team activities, applying judgment to assess risks, interpret data, summarize conclusions, and present findings to management. Key responsibilities include managing daily loan transactional processing, such as borrower advances, invoicing, payment collection and distribution, and reconciliations. The role also requires direct engagement with external customers to clarify information regarding risks, positions, outstanding balances, and claims. Additionally, the position supports enhancements to workflows, processes, procedures, and system functionalities to improve team efficiency and loan servicing effectiveness. The role also involves providing data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reporting, including FR Y-14Q and Shared National Credit (SNC) reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • Two (2) years of experience applying risk & control framework to ensure loans are serviced in line with terms on the credit agreement/finance orders and company policies.
  • Two (2) years of experience identifying non-standard/exceptions from the draft credit agreement/finance order prior to execution.
  • Two (2) years of experience servicing clients with more than 1000 contracts and performing secondary checks on loan activities.
  • Two (2) years of experience reading and extracting information on credit agreements/Finance orders pursuant to the Loan Syndication and Trading Association (American market) as well as Loan Market Association (European market) convention agreements.
  • Two (2) years of experience ensuring proper deal set up for accurate loan accruals using various loan types, including Revolver, Swinglines and term loans.
  • Two (2) years of experience resolving loan-related discrepancies independently and interpreting against policies, guidelines, or processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist as a data provider for weekly, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reporting requirements including FR Y-14Q and Shared National Credit (SNC) reports.
