About The Position

This full-time role starts in the Late Spring/Summer of 2026. C.H. Robinson is hiring an Associate Portfolio Executive to build and manage a customer portfolio while developing long‑term, trusted relationships. In this role, you will leverage AI‑powered tools to simplify quoting, planning, and scheduling—so you can focus on selling, problem‑solving, and growing revenue. You will operate with autonomy while being backed by the scale, technology, and credibility of a global supply chain leader. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months Customer Engagement Experience internal or external
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a portfolio of customers, strengthening relationships and uncovering needs to convert opportunities into active business.
  • Re-engage dormant accounts and expand within existing customers to increase volume, revenue, and wallet share.
  • Own day-to-day customer interactions by responding quickly to questions, managing exceptions and escalations, and resolving conflict professionally.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal partners to meet customer commitments and service expectations.
  • Quote and price freight, applying negotiation skills, market insight, and customer buying patterns to execute pricing strategy.
  • Plan, build, and execute shipments (with AI agent support) aligned to customer expectations
  • Identify account growth potential and cultivate transactional relationships into more committed, repeatable partnerships supported by business development resources.
  • Use data, reporting, and market/customer updates to uncover service and growth opportunities and inform daily priorities.
  • Improve how work gets done by adopting new tools/technology, identifying automation opportunities, and helping document and follow SOPs.
  • Operate with urgency and a team-first mindset by supporting teammates’ customers when needed and contributing in daily/weekly stand-ups.
