Every day, we apply the Development Code and review a wide variety of land use applications—from subdivisions to variances. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in city planning, community development or a related field
  • Two years of government related land use planning experience (for Associate Planner)
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional planning experience including one (1) year of supervisory experience (for Senior Planner)
  • Valid driver’s license, Oregon Class C with an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • American Institute of Certified Planners certificate preferred (for Senior Planner)
