About The Position
New associate physician (MD) will serve as a Medical Provider at Ward 86, the HIV/AIDS Clinic at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG). The provider will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients living with HIV and those at risk of HIV acquisition. Essential responsibilities include conducting thorough medical assessments, diagnosing and managing HIV-related conditions, prescribing antiretroviral therapies, providing preventative care, coordinating multidisciplinary care efforts, and engaging in patient education and counseling. This role is needed due to an unexpected departure of an HIV clinician from our clinic and is indispensable for addressing the multifaceted healthcare needs of the patient population, ensuring timely and effective treatment, and maintaining the clinic’s high standards of care.
Requirements
- MD board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family and Community Medicine
- Experience providing HIV primary care to adults living with HIV
