Associate Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties related to filling and dispensing unit-dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other ancillary departments promptly and accurately. The role fills and dispenses oral and IV medications, triages patient orders, and maintains the integrity of the automated dispensing system. The position is at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, and is full-time with a variable shift. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire, or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
- Inpatient experience.
- Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).
