About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch in Lake Worth, Florida. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications, and partners with branch teammates to provide a consistent customer experience. Success requires relationship-building skills, sound judgment, and balancing customer service with business growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position includes supporting everyday banking needs and branch operations, flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, and delivering service focused on account openings and ongoing account support. The schedule includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the employee’s start date. Loan Originators must meet applicable LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Ability to follow policies and regulations and identify and escalate risk concerns.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and meeting accuracy and service expectations.
Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening, follow-up, and consistent engagement.
Comfort initiating outreach by calls, emails, or other channels to strengthen relationships and identify ways to support customers.
Comfort using digital tools and technology, ability to learn new systems quickly, and ability to guide customers in adopting useful capabilities.
Ability to identify customer needs and connect them with appropriate solutions, including referrals when additional expertise is needed.
Proven ability to collaborate with teammates and partners to resolve customer needs and deliver a seamless experience.

Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, processing transactions accurately and meeting compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Coordinate with branch teammates to provide seamless handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities to support branch operations and account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
