About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch in Key Biscayne, Florida. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. They learn about customers’ goals and connect them with suitable banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The position supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while collaborating with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. It combines customer service and relationship growth with cash handling, teller-line activities, and compliance with operational and risk standards. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career development and mobility. The schedule includes Saturdays, and the role flexes between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date. Loan Originators must meet applicable LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards, and may be subject to credit-report review and ongoing screening. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Must comply with applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures and fulfill risk and compliance obligations.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and accuracy and service expectations.
Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening, follow-up, and consistent engagement.
Comfort initiating outreach by calls, emails, or other channels to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to support customer needs.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experiences and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Coordinate with branch teammates to provide seamless handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, including account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk programs, policies, and procedures; monitor and escalate risk or compliance concerns.
