About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch in Prescott Valley, Arizona. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships by supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with appropriate banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while collaborating with branch teammates to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. It combines customer service and relationship building with branch growth, sound judgment, and adherence to risk controls and operational standards. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position requires a schedule that includes Saturdays and flexibility between cash handling and customer banking activities. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the employee’s start date. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date.
Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Must comply with Wells Fargo policies and procedures and fulfill applicable risk and compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships through proactive conversations that support financial well-being and deepen engagement.
Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect customers with relevant banking products, services, and solutions.
Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, processing transactions accurately and meeting compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support changing banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Coordinate with branch teammates and make seamless handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify, escalate, and help remediate issues as appropriate.
