This role is for an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) within the National Branch Network, part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. The position focuses on delivering exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions. Responsibilities include assisting customers with new accounts, service requests, and credit applications, while exercising judgment within defined policies. The role requires developing an understanding of bank products, demonstrating care, and referring customers to other partners as needed. As a SAFE position, it involves customer contact and duties related to dwelling secured transactions, requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations, including meeting Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z.

Requirements

6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations
Meeting the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO)
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
Maintains cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed
SAFE registration at the time of employment
Meeting Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and complying with related Wells Fargo policies (applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards)

Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints

Responsibilities

Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customer
Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed
