About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch at the Cherry Hill, New Jersey location. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. They learn about customers’ goals and connect them with banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while working with branch teammates to deliver a consistent customer experience. It combines relationship building and service with branch growth, cash handling, and compliance responsibilities. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The schedule will include Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the employee’s start date. Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including standards concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and applicable Wells Fargo policies and standards.

Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support branch growth and customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash-handling and customer-banking activities, supporting account openings and ongoing account needs.
Follow applicable risk programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
