About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch. This frontline role builds customer relationships by supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications, and includes cash handling and teller-line activities. The Associate Personal Banker works with branch teammates to deliver accurate, compliant, high-quality service and seamless referrals to licensed bankers or other specialists. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position requires a schedule that includes Saturdays and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply.

Coordinate with branch teammates and provide seamless handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify, escalate, and help remediate issues.
