About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch in Jacksonville, Florida. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. They learn about customers’ goals and connect them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while working with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Success requires relationship-building, sound judgment, and balancing customer service with business growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position supports everyday banking and branch operations, including cash handling and teller line activities. The schedule includes Saturdays, and the employee must flex between cash handling and customer banking activities. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the employee’s start date. Loan Originator requirements and Wells Fargo screening policies apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller line activities, accurately processing transactions while meeting compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience and support changing banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify and escalate concerns and remediate issues as appropriate.
