About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. Responsibilities include supporting account openings, service requests, and credit applications while working with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The role provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position is based at the Boulder City branch in Boulder City, Nevada, and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the employee’s start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships through proactive conversations that support financial well-being and deepen engagement.
Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products, services, and solutions.
Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including opening accounts, handling service requests, and assisting with credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, processing transactions accurately and meeting compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to improve the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Coordinate with branch teammates and arrange handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists so customers can reach the appropriate expertise.
Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, including account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk programs, policies, and procedures; identify and escalate concerns and fulfill risk and compliance obligations.
