About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch in Winter Park, Colorado. This frontline role builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ financial goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while working with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. It combines relationship building and customer service with branch growth, sound judgment, and compliance. The position offers training and coaching intended to support long-term career growth and mobility. The employee will flex between cash handling and customer banking activities and must be able to work a schedule that includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of customer-interaction experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Must comply with applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, including risk and compliance obligations.

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and accuracy and service expectations.
Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening, follow-up, and consistent engagement.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including opening accounts, handling service requests, and processing credit applications.
Perform cash handling and teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience and support banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Coordinate with branch teammates and hand off customers to licensed bankers or specialists when appropriate.
Follow applicable risk and compliance policies and procedures, and escalate and remediate issues as required.
