About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience by building relationships, understanding customer needs, and connecting customers with suitable banking products, services, and digital solutions. The banker helps customers with basic account-opening requests, service requests, and credit applications, and refers financial needs to other bankers and partners as appropriate. The position includes customer contact and may involve offering or negotiating terms for, or taking applications for, dwelling-secured transactions. Employment requires SAFE registration and compliance with applicable mortgage licensing and Loan Originator requirements. Ongoing employment is contingent on meeting regulatory and background requirements. The role may involve working most Saturdays and maintaining, handling, and balancing a cash drawer while completing service-related tasks. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
Must obtain SAFE registration at the time of employment and meet applicable Loan Originator qualification and regulatory requirements, including financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards.

Ability to support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships through proactive outreach and recommend appropriate products, services, and digital solutions.
Assist customers with basic requests related to opening accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect them to customers' needs.
Interact with customers with care and provide appropriate options for bank products and services.
Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
Maintain a cash drawer, handle and balance cash, and complete service-related tasks as needed.
Follow applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and risk and compliance requirements; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
