About The Position

The Associate Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact, providing excellent customer service to patients or visitors in person or by phone. This role acts as a liaison between patients and providers throughout the administrative flow of the patient experience. It is ideal for individuals early in their career, involving learning and gaining experience in all core front and back office duties. Typically supports routine and basic healthcare services to ensure smooth clinic operational excellence in support of Providence patients and their families. Providence is growing and hiring for multiple openings in Primary Care and Specialty Care Clinics in the Portland Metro Area (Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, and Yamhill Counties). Requirements

6 months of Customer service related experience.

Nice To Haves

6 months of Office experience, preferably in a medical office.
Recent experience in the medical field.
6 months of Electronic Medical Record experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and by phone.
Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Perform front and back-office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information and patient support.
Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence’s mission of compassionate, high-quality care.
Able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
