About The Position

The University of Miami has entered a long-term partnership with Legends to oversee athletics ticket sales, customer service, annual fund solicitation/engagement, ticket operations, digital marketing, corporate partnerships, and multi-media rights opportunities. In addition, Legends will represent the University in developing campus-wide strategic partnerships. As the exclusive partner for Miami Athletics, Legends will engage Hurricanes fans and donors, local and regional South Florida businesses, and national brands with unique and integrated sponsorship, ticketing, and hospitality options. The Partnership Solutions team member will be responsible for providing solutions and insights to prospective and existing University of Miami Corporate Partners. Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to overall partnership strategy and analysis utilizing fan insights, sponsor valuation tools, CRM, platform development (concept ideation), and general partnership strategies. In addition, the role will be responsible for inventory management, rate card analysis and development, partner onboarding, partner summaries, department reporting and projections, and new business proposal development. Lastly, the role shall also be responsible for managing and/or collaborating on key accounts as determined by the SVP, Partnerships.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrates experience in building proposals and working with Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of how major social platforms work (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Tik Tok, etc.) and the ability to use each platform’s features effectively
  • Ability to work an irregular schedule including, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Be a digital multi-tasker and manage multiple design projects simultaneously
  • Be able to easily adapt to situational changes and tight deadlines
  • Resourceful, innovative and forward thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Sponsorship sales, activation and/or solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with social and digital analytics is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Propose, Partner Recap and Contract Agreement drafting and management
  • Assist departments sales and activation strategy and solutions using fan and industry insights and tools
  • Manage 3rd party sponsor valuation and inventory management relationships
  • Develop compelling “platforms” for existing and new partners
  • Manage Inventory, CRM and recommend pricing strategy for key inventories and initiatives
  • Maintain detailed department reports such as prospects and pipeline
  • Manage and/or collaborate on management of key sponsor accounts
  • Be willing to help in other areas of business including activation and service
  • Expected to attend games, as well as other live events that may take place on holidays or weekends including support during road games.
