About The Position

As an Associate Dentist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. In this role, you will diagnose and treat a variety of dental issues, perform routine check-ups and cleanings, educate patients on oral health, and create tailored treatment plans. Your expertise in pain management and commitment to infection control protocols will ensure top-notch patient care in a friendly and professional environment.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• State licensure to practice dentistry
• Valid CPR Certification
• Proficient in dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Knowledge of dental office systems and protocols

Responsibilities

• Examine patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
• Utilize X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.
• Provide dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
• Administer local anesthesia to patients as needed.
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and advise them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
• Perform oral cancer screenings.
• Prescribe antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.
• Ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
• Take impressions of patients' mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to a dynamic team of professionals.
• Other duties as assigned.
