YOU As an Associate Packer, you will be responsible for packing products in a timely manner consistent with the department’s safety, quality and production goals. This position reports directly to the Department Manager and is supported by the department’s Team Lead(s). This position works 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00am – 3:30pm with overtime as needed.

Requirements

Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
Able to effectively communicate in group settings and one-on-one, with all departments and at all levels within the organization.
Effectively communicate between shifts to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
Able to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance and to use combination squares to measure angles to +/- 1 degree, micrometers, calipers.
Regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear.
Occasionally required to sit.
Operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion.
May frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.

Ensure that all quality issues are directly reported to the department lead.
Ensure that the immediate work area remains clean to avoid any safety related issues.
