About The Position

Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do. The Associate-Owner is unique to Shoppers Drug Mart® and offers the opportunity to be the owner and operator of an exciting and growing business. Our Associate-Owners have a strong pride of ownership, and a true commitment to patient care and the communities they serve. The Associate Ownership experience focuses on business, people, and providing high-level patient care. Associate-Owners are ambassadors for the Shoppers Drug Mart® stores, giving back to their communities. Each Associate-Owner is supported by their in-store management team and a large team of operational resources, including District Managers and Pharmacy Operations Specialists, as well as specialized resources for human resources, recruitment, store systems, loss prevention, and retail accounting.

Requirements

Must be a pharmacist.
Legally licensed to practice in your chosen Canadian province or territory.
Past performance and experience.
Extensive interview process.
Review of appropriate references.
Successful participation in the Shoppers Drug Mart® Leadership Excellence and Development Program (LEAD).

LEAD Foundations is a customized leadership training program to assist in identifying and developing new or prospective Associates, Front Store Managers and Beauty Managers.
This program will help new or future Associates, Front Store Managers and Beauty Managers maintain a competitive advantage in today's fast paced and ever changing environment.
