Scientific Reports is a primary research journal from the publishers of Nature, covering all areas of the natural sciences, psychology, medicine, and engineering. Online and open access, Scientific Reports publishes a high volume of scientifically valid, original research papers, without barriers to access. With the support of external Editorial Board Members, papers are rapidly peer-reviewed to ensure they are technically sound. As an Associate or Senior Editor, you will support the Chief Editor and Deputy Editors of Scientific Reports in managing the Editorial Board and editorial decision-making processes across the journal. You will support content delivery by making editorial decisions, managing peer review for specific manuscripts, and helping to expand the reach of the journal through conference attendance and dedicated outreach initiatives. Key performance indicators include rapid publication, sound peer-review practices, and high levels of service to authors, reviewers, and Editorial Board Members (EBMs). This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for science to break into an editorial career on a high-profile, fast-paced, multidisciplinary journal. The position is offered on a full-time basis and will be based in our New York, Jersey City, or Philadelphia office on a hybrid working basis.
