About The Position
BNC Eyecare Group, a full-scope primary care practice located in Montclair, New Jersey, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Optometrist. The practice has been a leading provider of eye care services for 32 years, known for offering low-vision services and vision therapy, and is connected to the Commission for the Blind. BNC Eyecare Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye examinations, accurate diagnoses, and effective treatments, while also educating patients about their eye health. The practice offers a wide range of services including vision therapy, low vision, management of ocular diseases (including orals, dry eye, IPL therapy), and primary care contact lens fittings (myopia control, keratoconus, RGPs). They utilize cutting-edge technology and have in-house optical services with edging. Future goals include implementing scleral contact lens fitting and increasing contact lens fitting services, with potential for SLT/Yag capsulotomy.
Requirements
- Licensed Optometrist in New Jersey
- Comfort with treatment/management of Ocular Disease
- Willingness to learn coding to properly succeed
- Ability to confidently handle a diverse range of patients with varying visual needs and age groups.

Responsibilities
- Provide modern, comprehensive, and customized eye exams using current technology and advanced techniques.
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings for patients of all ages.
