About The Position
Global Care Optometry is seeking a dedicated Associate Optometrist to join our growing team at a new store in Tallahassee, FL. As part of our full-scope optometric practice, you’ll provide high-quality vision care to both children and adults in a professional, friendly, and comfortable environment. The ideal candidate will provide the highest level of care and a wide range of services to promote eye health and lifelong vision for our patients. Applicants must be licensed to practice optometry in Florida and fluent in Spanish. Requirements
- Licensed to practice optometry in Florida.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Caring for approximately four patients per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality vision care to both children and adults.
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams.
- Diagnose a range of conditions, including myopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma.
- Provide tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses.
- Educate patients on eye care and proper lens use.
- Maintain meticulous patient records.
- Collaborate with local ophthalmologists to ensure seamless co-management of patient care.
