About The Position

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business. The Associate Operator, Warehouse Operations monitors temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation, updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation, identifies on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials, coordinates material movement, and prepares packaging materials and shipment areas. This role also escalates non-standard handling or inventory issues. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
  • Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
  • Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
  • Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements.
  • Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials.
  • Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements.
  • Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs.
  • Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action.
  • Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred
