Clinical Labeling Services, part of the Clinical Trials Division and located in Bohemia, New York, provides leading clinical label design, production and management services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Our advanced inspection technology, in-house print capabilities, and proprietary translation and regulatory approval systems are designed to reduce overall clinical trial label cycle times. The Bohemia site supports global clinical studies through integrated label design, printing, inspection, translation and regulatory support, helping deliver high-quality clinical trial labeling solutions efficiently and accurately. Available Shifts: 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. 3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. Pay Range: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour Additional shift differential applies to 2nd and 3rd shift positions.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory operations, equipment operation or a related environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, adjust and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices and equipment care.
Strong computer literacy, including experience with computerized equipment, data transfer and file management.
Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements, specifications, job orders, technical documentation and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to product quality and documentation accuracy.
Ability to monitor production processes, identify potential issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Familiarity with cGMP requirements, SOPs, WIs and quality control practices.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information and communicate professionally with colleagues and internal customers.
Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision while also contributing effectively in a team environment.
Ability and willingness to cross-train and operate multiple pieces of production equipment.

Nice To Haves

Technical or mechanical education or training preferred.
Experience working in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Experience in printing, labeling, packaging or related manufacturing operations.
Experience operating computerized digital manufacturing equipment.
Experience with folding, gluing, press operations or similar specialized manufacturing equipment.
Experience performing basic industrial equipment maintenance, adjustments or repairs.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and equipment control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and monitor computerized digital, folding, gluing and other specialized manufacturing equipment in accordance with approved production documentation.
Support the manufacture and processing of clinical trial labeling materials according to job orders, customer specifications and established quality standards.
Set up computerized equipment for production runs using proprietary software applications according to SOPs and WIs.
Monitor equipment performance throughout production runs and troubleshoot equipment, material or process issues as needed.
Inspect materials during production and perform in-process quality checks to identify defects, printing errors or other deviations from established specifications.
Process rejects and correct production issues in accordance with applicable procedures and work instructions.
Perform equipment adjustments, changeovers, minor repairs and routine preventive maintenance activities to help ensure optimal equipment performance.
Handle production materials and tooling, including activities such as mounting flexible tooling and performing roll splicing, as applicable to assigned equipment.
Read and interpret production documentation, measurements, technical information and equipment instructions.
Accurately complete production documentation, equipment logs and maintenance records in accordance with cGMP requirements.
Clean equipment following production and maintain manufacturing and equipment areas in a clean, safe and organized condition.
Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, quality and other team members to resolve equipment or process issues.
Support continuous improvement activities focused on safety, quality, efficiency and equipment performance.
Cross-train on multiple pieces of equipment and manufacturing processes to support changing production and business needs.
