Requirements

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse.
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing practice and ability to support and supervise others.
  • Experience in leadership, management and team coordination roles.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care while supporting the leadership and coordination of the ward or unit.
  • Assist the Nurse Unit Manager with staffing, rostering, performance management and day-to-day operations, while promoting continuity and consistency of care.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff and contribute to a positive team and learning culture.
