About The Position

This role is for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) in Palliative Care. The ANUM will work alongside the Nurse Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership, support a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality palliative care. Key responsibilities include mentoring staff, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to the day-to-day coordination of the unit. The position is permanent part-time, 24 hours per week, and is open to everyone. The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaborative leadership, and making a meaningful difference.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience.
• Demonstrated competence in delivering high-quality palliative care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to support, mentor and develop staff while promoting a positive team culture.
• Sound clinical judgement and a commitment to quality improvement and safe practice.

Nice To Haves

• Postgraduate qualifications in Palliative Care, or currently working towards such qualifications.
