About The Position

Reporting to the Associate Director, Investor Delivery, this role involves setting up and maintaining investor profiles, processing transactions accurately and efficiently according to fund guidelines, and assisting with the organization's FATCA/CRS service offering. The position also includes preparing wire payments and account transfers, generating periodic fund activity reports, and responding to queries from clients, investors, fund managers, and internal departments. The role requires maintaining a high standard of service, participating in team meetings, supporting management initiatives and projects, and promoting MUFG's core values. This is a 6-month fixed term contract opportunity.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a business related field preferred or relevant experience
  • Experience in financial services, fund administration, asset management, banking or client service is an asset
  • Knowledge of Investor Services processes and related functionalities an asset
  • Existing client/customer service experience would be ideal
  • Computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain investor profiles accurately and efficiently as outlined by the investor in documents or requested updates thereafter
  • Processing transactions in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the fund offering documents, with attention to proper procedures and deadlines
  • Assist with the organization’s FATCA/CRS service offering to our clients
  • Prepare wire payments and account transfer transactions through various banking platforms to settle distributions, and transfer approved dealing proceeds to the client trading account
  • Prepare periodic fund activity reports for submission to relevant clients or their regulatory bodies, reporting, including statement of holdings, shareholder registers, and audit confirmations, etc
  • Respond to queries from Clients, Investors, Fund Managers or internal MUFG Departments following a high-quality standard, and provide assistance and guidance to the team members in query responses, provide guidance to colleagues within the team in daily tasks, processes and deliverables
  • Participate in regular team check-in meetings/calls sharing information, ideas and supporting colleagues in a positive team culture
  • Support management in department initiatives, projects, risk mitigation
