About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Engineer to assist with the support, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise network infrastructure. This role will work closely with senior engineers and managed service providers to help maintain reliable and secure network operations across LAN, WAN, and cloud-connected environments. The ideal candidate will have foundational networking knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a desire to grow within enterprise infrastructure and networking technologies. This is a hybrid role in our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) with the expectation to be onsite two days per week.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of networking and security concepts
  • Familiarity with Cisco and Meraki environments preferred
  • Basic knowledge of DHCP, DNS, switching, and routing
  • Exposure to Windows-based network services
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT support processes
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and vendors
  • 0 – 2 years of IT experience, preferably in networking or help desk
  • Internship experience will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure and connectivity
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for network and connectivity issues
  • Help manage network devices, patching, and lifecycle activities
  • Assist with LAN/WAN and wireless support tasks
  • Support DHCP, DNS, and other core network services
  • Coordinate with managed service providers for operational support
  • Create and update technical documentation and SOPs
  • Participate in infrastructure projects under senior engineer guidance
  • Support compliance and security initiatives
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed
  • Travel up to 25% as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
