About The Position
Do you love solving big problems, spotting trends before everyone else, and making products fly off the shelves? As the Associate Merchant for Multipack Kids Juice, you’ll help shape the assortment for one of Walmart’s most important customers — kids — by delivering fun, value-driven beverage options that parents trust and kids love. Manage a big business and be a true subject matter expert in your category. Strategize and choose the assortment in stores and online.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing business needs and make fast, impactful decisions.
- Financial acumen with a strong understanding of retail math and confidence owning and managing a category P&L.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with supplier partners to drive innovation, improve performance, and deliver customer value.

Responsibilities
- Drive assortment decisions and item strategy using customer insights, sales trends, and market data to grow the Kids Juice business.
- Partner with suppliers to negotiate costs, improve product performance, and bring innovative offerings to Walmart customers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, replenishment, marketing, and supply chain teams to execute category strategies and seasonal plans.
- Monitor business performance metrics including sales, margin, inventory, and item productivity to identify opportunities and solve challenges quickly.
- Champion the customer experience by ensuring the right products, value, and innovation are available for families shopping Walmart’s beverage aisle.
