Associate Medical Director

Hello Alpha, (Multiple States)
$180,000 - $250,000Remote

About The Position

Hello Alpha is seeking a full-time (0.8-1.0 FTE) Physician with a passion for patient advocacy and improving the way people access healthcare today. The Physician will work collaboratively under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), provide direct patient care virtually on our telemedicine platform, and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Alpha is mission-driven, changing the paradigm of healthcare for patients who are historically underrepresented due to sex, race, gender, language, economic status, location, disability, and other diverse backgrounds. They empower their Primary Care Providers with a foundation in women’s health to administer patient-centered care throughout a woman’s lifespan. Alpha prioritizes what’s best for patients, not what’s easier or more profitable, and does whatever it takes to provide excellent care and empower patients to take control of their health. They work together as a team to bring to life their vision of a more just healthcare system, trusting each other, communicating openly and honestly, giving credit where it is due, providing opportunities for employee growth and development, assuming good intentions, and celebrating wins as a team. Diversity is at their core, existing to bring a more accessible, equitable system to care for the whole woman regardless of age, income, and location, and they are inclusive, welcoming, and value different perspectives. Alphanauts love data and value facts over opinions, using evidence-based science to highlight the clinical value of their mission. They are proactive and positive, learning by doing and addressing challenges without waiting or worrying about their scope, being pragmatic and valuing progress over perfection, and being optimistic and believing in the power of positivity.
