About The Position

Symbria is searching for our next Associate Medical Billing Associate to fill one of our roles in our Corporate Headquarters in Woodridge, IL. This is a hybrid-remote role which requires to come into the office if needed. Therefore, applicants must live within commuting distance of Woodridge, IL. The Rehab Associate Medical Biller is responsible for performing all functions required to maintain, update, and bill customers’ accounts timely and accurately. Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to maintain organization, multi-task and pay attention to detail while working on several tasks simultaneously.
Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

At least 1-2 years Medical billing experience through work or school preferred
Strong data entry skills

Responsibilities

Timely and accurate data entry of therapy activity into Excel on a monthly basis.
Calculate certain billing information before input into invoices.
Communicate with therapists and/or program managers relating to billing issues before final bills are complete.
Assist with distribution of monthly invoices to multiple communities.
Assist with distribution of monthly billing reports to accounting department.
Assist with tracking and resolving both outstanding payment and billing issues with third party and private pay customers across all business lines, including Rehab, Pharmacy and Physician billing.
Any and all duties as assigned.
