About The Position

As part of our Planning team, the Architects, you help turn audience understanding and business clarity into intentional media strategies. Our planners connect research, analytics, creativity, and collaboration to build the strategic foundation that guides every media investment. Because media starts and ends with people, every recommendation begins with understanding the audiences we serve and the outcomes our clients value most. As an Associate Media Planner, you'll build the skills, curiosity, and confidence to transform data into insight and insight into action. You'll contribute to thoughtful planning, support cross-functional collaboration, and help ensure every decision is made with intention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Internship or exposure to advertising, marketing, communications, or media is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an aptitude for working with data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, organize, and maintain station, vendor, and marketplace information to support media planning.
  • Collect pre-logs and monitor campaign clearances to ensure media placements run as intended.
  • Verify campaign data, ratings information, and audience metrics, including Nielsen data, to support accurate planning and reporting.
  • Build call projections that help clients and telemarketing partners plan effectively.
  • Research invoice discrepancies and partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate information within agency systems and planning tools.
  • Prepare client, product, and campaign setup documentation, including telemarketing and web scripts.
  • Coordinate traffic instructions, creative requests, and campaign logistics to ensure campaigns launch successfully.
  • Support planners with competitive research, marketplace intelligence, and media recommendations.
  • Prepare recurring campaign reports and planning documents that communicate performance clearly and concisely.
  • Identify trends, emerging insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Surface meaningful findings that help inform smarter decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure work is delivered accurately, on time, and with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Develop expertise across media channels, planning principles, and agency tools.
  • Ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions respectfully, and actively strengthen your craft.
  • Collaborate across departments to understand how strategy, activation, analytics, and account management work together to deliver meaningful results.
